Queretaro is one of the most progressive states in Mexico. It is a modern state, rich in culture and history. Our Trips will be based in the Sierra Gorda amongst Spanish Missions and World Heritage Sites in the city of Conca.
The rivers are warm and offer excitement for all skill levels.
We will be offering Rafting, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Kayaking this season.
Bring the whole family along for an Amazing Mexico Experience!
Come join us for the month of December!

The upper Santa Maria, before it joins with Rio Ayutla, is a class 2-3 gem. The turquoise waters and deep canyons are spectacular. There are numerous hot water springs falling into the river as it snakes its way from El Carrizal to the confluence with Ayutla.
The scenery is unlike any other river in Mexico.
This section of whitewater is broken up in two sections. The canyon zero section
and the Conca town run. For SUP we will concentrate on the town run. For kayaks we will be doing the Canyon section as well.

We will also have Sit on Top kayaks and inflatables available.

If you are a serious kayaker and want
the excitement of a 2 day class 5 canyon trip, Conca is the put in for the first two canyons of the Santa Maria.
The waterfalls of the Huasteca are also 2.5 hours from Queretaro.

The Ayutla river is a short 2 mile run that is perfect for SUP and kayaks. it is class 2 with one class 3. The water is transparent and we will be taking out where the 2 rivers (santa maria-ayutla) mix.

The mixing of the waters is a sacred place for the natives of Queretaro.
This trip is for the whitewater enthusiast with a taste for local experiences and cultural exploration.
We will spend 4 days on the water and 2 exploring other parts of the Sierra Gorda. We will visit the missions of Conca, Jalpan and Landa de Matamoros.
And day of relaxation at the Jalpan lagoon with an optional hike to the springs that feed the lagoon.
