KAYAK HUASTECA

Kayak Huasteca is a dedicated group of explorers and educators.  We explore rivers and increase awareness of the wild places that Mexico has to offer.  Our goal is to document these special places and introduce them to people who will help us preserve and promote their natural beauty.

Our Business

KH was founded in 2007.  Since then we have run several first descents on various rivers.  We have taught Kayaking Clinics and Swiftwater Rescue Classes to the local river safety providers.  We continue to introduce kayaking, rafting and stand up paddling to the community.   

Who We Are!

Team Kayak Huasteca:

Aaron Koch

Aaron is the driving force behind KH.  He has been a waterman his entire life.  With start in ocean sailing to kayaking, rafting and now Stand Up Paddling.  He splits his time between Mexico and the USA.

Enrique Aguado

Enrique has been in the whitewater industry for 13 years.  He is the man to know in Mexico.  The rivers of the Huasteca know him well, he manages Expediciones Aventura Huasteca and is a strong class 5 kayaker. 

Patrick Beverley

Patrick has been guiding since 1997. Since then he has taught everything from backpacking to climbing and rafting. He is the dirrection behind all of the rafting descents of Kayak Huasteca. KH already has multiple first raft descents in the Huasteca region.

Alex Manzo "Tomate"

Co-Owner, Alex has been with KH from the beginning.  He is currently in Denver, CO working on projects.  He is an avid Kayaker and also keeps the stoke on the SUP.   Look for the crazy guy in the SPOKIZ sunglasses!
